The first part capacity of 100 MW has already been declared on commercial operation with effect from 20 December 2022, second part capacity of 50 MW with effect from 30 December 2022, third part capacity of 50 MW with effect from 16 February 2023 and fourth part capacity of 50 MW with effect from 01 April 2023.
With this, installed and commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy will become 2711 MW while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 72354 MW.
NTPC is primarily involved in the generation and sale of bulk power to state power utilities. Other business of the group includes providing consultancy, project management & supervision, energy trading, oil & gas exploration and coal mining. The Government of India holds 51.10% stake in NTPC as of 31 March 2023.
The company recorded 1% rise in standalone net profit to Rs 5,672.32 crore on a 21.8% increase in total income to Rs 43,399.15 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared with Q4 FY22.
The scrip fell 0.06% to settle at Rs 174.20 on Friday, 3 June 2023.

Often trades done in the customer’s accounts are far from the best interest of the customers. Holdings of customers are often sold and with the funds, trades are then placed in illiquid securities at unrealistic prices.
At times, the holdings of customers are sold at prices detrimental to the customer. The so-called “portfolio manager” assures profits, which naturally does not materialize. Customers are deceived into providing access to their trading accounts, thereby allowing such fraudsters access to funds and securities available to execute trades, injurious to the customer’s interest.
