Larsen & Toubro secures Rs 1000 to Rs 2500 crore orders from ONGC for offshore projects

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. is currently trading at Rs 4040.1, down 0.53%, while the stock has risen 2.57% over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) business has secured orders from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X) and Well Head Platforms Project off India's west coast, classified as "Major" orders with a combined value of Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 Cr. The projects involve engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) work for subsea pipelines and four wellhead platforms, reinforcing L&T's position as a key partner in India's offshore energy infrastructure development, according to Senior Vice President Parthasarathi Chatterjee. Larsen & Toubro, a USD 32 billion multinational, continues to focus on technology and quality across its diverse EPC and manufacturing operations. Trading volume reached 5.09 lakh shares today, a decrease of 70.95% compared to the average volume over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro Ltd marginally improved 10.94% year-over-year, outperforming the 0.25% gain in the NIFTY50 index.
